Homicide in Smoky Lake linked to Edmonton death: police

EDMONTON – A murder investigation in the county of Smoky Lake has ties to an Edmonton murder, according to the Edmonton Police Service.

On January 21, Ibrahim Chehimi was shot and killed outside Hudsons Tap House in Oliver.

Police now say there’s a connection between his death and 21-year old London Williams, who was found dead in the county of Smoky Lake on March 24.

The location where Williams was killed is still under investigation. The cause of his death is not being released at this time.

Homicide detectives are investigating both deaths with help from the RCMP.
