WINNIPEG – Police are interviewing several people in connection with the city’s seventh homicide of the year.
Officers were called to the area of Dufferin Avenue and Salter Street around 11 p.m. Saturday.
Police found a 17-year-old boy on the road with an upper-body injury. He was rushed to hospital and died.
An 18-year-old man was also found nearby. He too was taken to hospital in critical condition, which was later upgraded to stable, police said Monday.
The homicide unit is continuing with the investigation.
