REGINA – An early-morning munchie run ended with the arrest of an 18-year-old assault suspect on Friday.
At approximately 5:00 a.m. police were called to a convenience store in the 2100 block of Broad St. after a caller reported being threatened by a suspect with a knife.
Officers checked the store’s surveillance footage and identified a suspect. As they were leaving they store they spotted the suspect in line waiting to pay for a bag of chips. He was promptly arrested.
The suspect is charged with Carrying Concealed Weapon, Weapon Dangerous to the Public, and Assault with a Weapon.
