REGINA – Temple Hotels have announced they have completed their purchase to officially acquire Hotel Saskatchewan for $32.8 million.
Over the next three years, Hotel Saskatchewan will undergo a $6 million renovation project including upgrades to the rooms, dining room, lounge, and lobby.
The purchase marks Temple’s fourth hotel acquisition in Saskatchewan. The company also owns the Temple Gardens Mineral Spa Resort in Moose Jaw, the Wingate Inn in Regina, and the Saskatoon Inn & Conference Centre.
The hotel originally opened in 1927 as one of a chain constructed and owned by the Canadian Pacific Railway.
