Police say the Pontiac didn’t stop after the collision, and allegedly continued north on 102 Street.

“The vehicle was found abandoned a short time later near 105 Avenue and 96 Street,” said Major Collision Investigation Section Sgt. Gary Lamont.

According to police, the group was walking on the road because of a lack of sidewalks in the area.

The investigation continues, and police say additional charges are pending.
