More than 1,300 schools have been destroyed in Ukraine since Russia launched its full-scale invasion, while only about a third of school-age children are attending classes in person since the war began. Crystal Goomansingh explains how Kharkiv, one of Ukraine’s biggest cities, is trying to change that by building classrooms in metro stations.
