A Manitoba First Nations woman is inspiring children and youth in her community to take pride in being Indigenous through creating ribbon skirts. Alyssia Sutherland from Peguis First Nation, whose designs were recently featured at a fashion show in France, will share her work at a community event next week. Global's Rosanna Hempel brings us her story.

A Manitoba First Nations woman is inspiring children and youth in her community to take pride in being Indigenous through creating ribbon skirts.
