Vancouver council expected to scrap single-use cup fee

The ABC majority on Vancouver city council is expected to vote to get rid of the controversial 25-cent fee on single-use cups. The policy went into effect a year ago and was designed to cut down on waste. But critics say not only has the fee been ineffective, it also disproportionately impacts marginalized people.
