Manitoba announces $40 million in CentrePort funding

Heather Stefanson, Manitoba's Premier announced on Friday that the CentrePort development project will receive $40 million in funding to begin expansion. The Manitoba government expects the expansion will make CentrePort the largest tri-modal inland port in North America. MMI Asset Management President & CEO said the announcement means construction will likely begin within the next 18 months.
