Fire crews responded to a major blaze at the Manwin Hotel on Main Street in Winnipeg early Wednesday morning, with flames visible as firefighters arrived around 4 a.m. Crews say the fire was already too advanced to enter the building and are now working defensively to protect nearby properties. About 100 people were evacuated from the neighbouring Main Street Project, while the cause of the fire remains under investigation
