At approximately 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday morning police officers were involved in a shooting at a residence in Winnipeg’s Point Douglas neighbourhood. One man was transported to hospital in unstable condition but has since been upgraded to stable condition. The Independent Investigation Unit of Manitoba has assumed responsibility for investigating the incident.
