In June, new rules allowed tow trucks in Alberta to install blue lighting in an effort to give drivers working on the side of a busy road more visibility. This was in addition to rules that say drivers travelling in the same direction must slow down to at least 60 km/h in the closest lane. But as Elissa Carpenter tells us, tow-truck drivers say many motorists aren’t getting the message.
