Afghanistan crisis: Gen. Milley says he believes drone strike at Kabul airport was ‘righteous strike’
Description
September 1, 2021
Gen. Mark Milley said on Wednesday that while an investigation is still underway into the U.S. drone strike at the Kabul airport that took out an alleged would-be suicide bomber was a “righteous strike” and that the proper procedures were followed. Milley said “at least” one of those killed in the strike was an ISIS facilitator, but admitted others were killed.
