New Brunswick’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Jennifer Russell confirmed the second death on Friday of an individual in their 50s related to blood clot complications after getting the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine. The person received the vaccine in mid-April and developed symptoms 17 days later.
