Manitoba’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Brent Roussin on Monday said they have expanded testing to include the B.1351 variant first identified in South Africa, and to ensure they have an understanding of variants in Manitoba, they are now screening samples of all positive tests dating back to February for potential variants.
