November 20, 2020
A 28-year veteran of the OPP was gunned down in the line of duty on Manitoulin Island on Thursday. PC Marc Hovingh sustained fatal injuries during a property dispute call. A civilian also died in the encounter. Miranda Anthistle has the details including reaction from fellow officers and the mayor of the close-knit community.
