Canadian Public safety minister Bill Blair told reporters on Tuesday that individuals crossing the Canadian border irregularly will still be allowed into the country, but will be taken into custody and be subject to medical screening. He added that the government is working to ensure that they will have “appropriate accommodations” to self-isolate.
