Participants of now defunct ‘basic income pilot project’ say cancellation of the program has been devastating

It has been more than seven months since the Ford government pulled the plug on the basic income pilot project . The initiative was aimed at enhancing the lives of low income individuals and families.
two thousand people in Lindsay were a part of that project.
