EU approves new Brexit deadline, U.K. PM still facing doubts

The European Union has approved another extension of Brexit’s deadline, until Jan. 31. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was reluctant for another delay and pushed for an early election to break the political deadlock, but that plan was rejected by parliament. Redmond Shannon reports.
