Peterborough parents breathe sigh of relief as CUPE strike is averted
It was a waiting game for thousands of parents across the province.
On Sunday night, the threat of schools being shut down loomed. But just hours before strike deadline, the Canadian Union of Public Employees reached a tentative agreement with the Ontario government.
While this may feel like a sigh of relief for many parents , it’s unclear how the 55,000 education workers involved feel.
