U.S. Capitol Police said 302 were arrested inside the Capitol building on Thursday – among them comedian Amy Schumer, a distant relative of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, as hundreds of demonstrates marched on Washington to protest the Supreme Court nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh.
