Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is among the global leaders condemning the snap election in Venezuela. President Nicolas Maduro has barred any major opponents from running, while others are boycotting—essentially securing another term in office. But as Sean O’Shea reports, Ottawa won’t recognize the victory.
