Should “Naramata Bench” be on the wine label?

There is a push from within the B.C. wine industry to promote greater transparency on the label.

Right now an “Okanagan Valley” bottle of wine means the grapes could be grown in the desert like climate of Osoyoos all the way to Salmon Arm more than 200 kilometres away.

Some wine producers are advocating for change so consumers know exactly where the wine comes from.
