More than 60 Indigenous artifacts were returned to Canada Saturday morning after spending a century at the Vatican. The priceless items were taken from Indigenous communities in 1925 and put on display as part of the Vatican’s missionary exhibition. The repatriation of the items makes good on a promise first made by the late Pope Francis three years ago. Mike Armstrong reports on the emotional homecoming and why Indigenous groups hope it’s just the beginning.
