Four people were sent to hospital following a head on crash near Peterborough on Saturday night.
Emergency crews responded to the scene on North Monaghan Parkway just before 8 p.m.
Paramedics treated four people at the scene before taking them to hospital for further treatment.
Peterborough police said one of the victims has since been transferred to a Toronto hospital.
Police charged one of the drivers with careless driving.
