• Aerial assault of fire burning west of Peachland continues

  The fire was first spotted on Sunday night and is currently mapped at 33 hectares, a figure first offered by BC Wildfire on Monday night.

• Mount Law wildfire near West Kelowna forces evacuation order, local state of emergency

  Helicopters are gathering water from Okanagan Lake and dropping it on the fire to try and prevent it from spreading further but conditions are very dry in the area.
