Fashion with Compassion is reinventing itself amid the pandemic to continue to support clients battling cancer.

Theresa Carriere's run caps off a month of fundraising, where supporters were encouraged to log 100 km however they could between May 19 and June 19.

Carriere expects to complete part of the run Thursday evening, before hitting the pavement again at 5 a.m. Friday with hopes of finishing before 1 p.m.

“It was Halloween weekend and after two-and-a-half years of symptoms, I finally threw myself in the emergency room. Within a 24 hour time frame I was diagnosed with Stage 3 testicular cancer. When I heard those words, I fainted and woke up on a gurney,” Khouri said.

Today, Jackie Morra loves to give back to her community by using her talents to help others, but everything came to a halt in 2014 when she found out she had breast cancer.

So far, Cathy DeLong's efforts have produced $800 in donations.
