A proposed new City of Calgary bylaw would limit any hateful protest from taking place within 100 metres of the entrance of city libraries and recreation centres.

Harassing a person over their age, gender, race, religion, marital status, income or sexual orientation, including sexual advances, is subject to a fine beginning June 1.
