The Calgary police homicide unit has been called in to help investigate after a man's body was discovered in the northeast community of Abbeydale early Friday morning.

Charges are pending against three men after a 19-year-old with gunshot wounds was dropped off at a northeast Calgary hospital on Wednesday evening.

CALGARY - Firefighters are investigating the cause of a fire the community of Abbeydale on Thursday that destroyed a home.

18-year-old Colton Crowshoe was taken into custody by CPS on the early morning of July 2, and released a short time later. Four days later, Crowshoe’s family reported him missing.

Late Friday, police confirmed that Colton Crowshoe was found dead in a northeast Calgary pond. He had been missing for three weeks.

CALGARY – It’s hoped autopsies scheduled for Friday can provide some insight into the deaths of two men whose bodies were discovered on Thursday.

Emergency crews were called around 2 p.m. to the area between Abberfoyle Close and Stoney Trail, in the community of Abbeydale.

Colton James Crowshoe, 18, was last seen in the Abbeydale area in northeast Calgary between 2:30 a.m. and 4 a.m. on July 4.

Police are investigated a stabbing in the community of Abbeydale on Friday.
