Autopsies scheduled for Friday in two Calgary deaths

CALGARY – It’s hoped autopsies scheduled for Friday can provide some insight into the deaths of two men whose bodies were discovered on Thursday.

One of the men was found dead outside of a Humpty’s in the community of Montgomery.

The homicide unit is investigating the death, which is being called suspicious.

The deceased is described as being between 40 and 50-years-old.

A few personal items were discovered near the body, including a sleeping bag, but police couldn’t confirm if he was homeless.

The second body was discovered in a northeast pond around 2 p.m.

Police believe the man was in his late teens or early twenties.

Colton Crowshoe, 18, went missing in the area on July 4th, but officials won’t know if its him until the autopsy is complete.

The deaths are not thought to be connected.
