CALGARY- Police are scouring a field in northeast Calgary, after a body was discovered in a pond there on Thursday.
Emergency crews were called around 2 p.m. to the area between Abberfoyle Close and Stoney Trail, in the community of Abbeydale.
EMS confirms a dead person was found in the water, and the Calgary Police Homicide Unit has been called in to determine if the death is suspicious.
Police say the person is believed to be a man in his late teens or early 20s.
An autopsy has been scheduled for Friday to confirm his identity.
