A Toronto man accused of killing his on-and-off again girlfriend has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder on the eve of his trial.

Police said in a news release that officers found Giovanni Raimondi fatally wounded in a home in the area of Lake Shore Boulevard West and Palace Pier Court Monday night.
