Police said rock fell from the lookout point of the Scarborough Bluffs at around 4 p.m. Sunday as people were at the beach.

"Police were called here this morning by City of Toronto workers who had located a body that was floating in the water," Duty Insp. Liz Benoit told reporters at the scene.

Officials say one man drowned and another is missing after they were seen struggling in the water at Bluffer's Park in Toronto on Saturday. 

Investigators said a homeowner in the area called about seeing smoke coming from the top of the bluffs.

The marina has also been closed to visiting boats for the season because the docks are underwater.

Toronto Fire officials said they responded to a call around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday at Brimley Road South and Bluffers Park.

Traffic troubles started bright and early on Monday as Toronto police officers and City of Toronto staff were already turning people away by 9 a.m. due to parking lots being full.

Police began searching Lake Ontario on Sunday evening after receiving reports that a man had fallen off a boat in the city's east end.

A search is continuing on Monday for a 27-year-old Toronto man who fell of a boat near Bluffers Park in Lake Ontario.

The 175 Bluffer's Park buses will run between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays until Oct. 8.
