MONTREAL – The 30th annual drive-home service Operation Nez rouge starts its engines Friday.
Throughout the holiday season volunteers in red vests will provide a safe ride home for party-goers who don’t feel fit to drive.

The service aims to prevent drunk-driving and began as small operation in Quebec City in 1984.
It has expanded to 63 cities across the province and is available in 43 locations in Canada.

The service is free and runs till New Years Eve.
