As of 1 p.m. Monday, investigators were focusing their efforts on a detached garage as well as sheds on the property along Range Road 293, just south of Crossiron Drive.

Calgary police told Global News it’s a major crimes investigation, but wouldn’t release further details on Monday. CPS said it will provide updates “should we find something that progresses or advances an investigation.”

Neighbours noticed police arrived in the area earlier in the weekend.

“Since Saturday morning,” Andrew Williams told Global News. “I came home from golf and then they were parked there, and I thought they had somebody pulled over.”
