Montreal police say the body of an missing 85-year-old man was found Monday morning in a wooded area in Pierrefonds.
“It is not a criminal act,” police wrote in a press release.
The man left his home in Pierrefonds, on the West Island on the night of August 24 and had last been seen near the intersection of St-Charles and Gouin boulevards.
Montreal police had asked for the public’s help in locating the senior citizen saying they had reason to fear for his health.
