Preliminary evidence led fire investigators to believe the fire was suspicious, and forced them to call in the Arson Unit.

Almost two months later, officials say crews are working to install light fixtures and lockers in the school, and fix up flooring.

Workers are attempting to clean up furniture and upholstery, and restore murals and other artwork and woodwork in the building.

Finally, officials say duct cleaning and sealing is complete, and permits for ceiling tile replacement are pending.
