The recount resulted in a tie between Gomuwka and Walker, so a draw was held and Walker’s name was drawn, so he won the final spot on council.

But a judicial recount was requested, and on Friday, a judge performed an official review of the spoiled and rejected ballots.

The judge determined the tie was actually between Gomuwka and Troy Sorensen.

Another draw was held, and Gomuwka’s name was drawn, so he has been declared elected and Walker is removed from council.
