A couple out for a walk in the southeast community of Forest Heights found a dead woman early Tuesday.
The pair, who spotted the body at around 5:30 a.m., told Global News that the woman “looked young.”
Calgary firefighters responded to the location in the Fonda Park green space and, after being directed to the body, notified EMS and police.
The medical examiner was deployed to the scene and the Calgary Police Service is investigating. An autopsy was scheduled to take place Wednesday.
