SASKATOON – It’s not the most conventional job but it’s one that is sure to impress crowds.
The Durga Fire Dancers are based out of Saskatoon and have performed all over Western Canada.

Victoria Morris is one of the fire dancers. She has been dancing for 13 years and is currently teaching out of the Free Flow Dance Company in Saskatoon.
“We do a bit of a mix and depending on what we’re doing we do full on group improvised dance routines with some of the fire equipment in our hands,” said Morris.
Morris teaches seminars on fire dancing and belly dancing which is incorporated in the fire routine.
