Watch: Standout features of Samsung Galaxy Gear

TORONTO – Samsung’s Galaxy Gear smartwatch is impressing wearable technology experts.

Wearable technology expert Tom Emrich sat down with Global News tech reporter Nicole Bogart to discuss some of the standout features of the gadget.

Emrich, who has been using the device for a few weeks, said that the ease of use and handy notification system will stand out to first-time users.

But the expert notes that the device’s camera is one of the most impressive features – despite it only having 1.9 megapixels.
