Global News is projecting Malcolm Brodie has been elected to another term as mayor of Richmond in the 2022 B.C. municipal election.
Brodie once again cruised to victory with more than 65 per cent of the vote. He won 64 per cent of ballots cast in 2018.
All incumbent councillors who ran for re-election — Chak Au, Carol Day, Andy Hobbs, Alexa Loo, Bill McNulty and Michael Wolfe — have all won, Global News projects. They will be joined by new faces Laura Gillanders and former B.C. public safety minister and MLA Kash Heed.
