Residents in Trail have voted in the 2022 B.C. municipal election, and Global News projects they have elected a new mayor.
Colleen Jones has won the mayor’s race, with Global News projecting Jones has beat out incumbent Lisa Pasin.
Council will be made up of mostly new faces in Bev Benson, Terry Martin, Nick Cashol, Doug Wilson and Thea Hanson. Incumbent Paul Butler has also kept his seat on council, Global News projects.
