Edmonton – A 14-year-old boy has died after being hit by a vehicle in the town of Whitecourt.
Witnesses told police the teenager entered an intersection on his bicycle while the light was red for him. He lost control of his bike, then slid under the path of a pick-up truck.

The 14-year-old was taken to Whitecourt Hospital, where he passed away a short time later.
The victim is from Whitecourt.
RCMP say no charges will be laid in the collision.
Whitecourt is 180 kilometers northwest of Edmonton.
