The Calgary Police Service believes the death of a man that occurred in the northeast community of Greenview is non-criminal.
Police said they were called to the 4400 block of Greenview Drive N.E. on Tuesday at 8:10 p.m. for reports of a man in medical distress. CPS said officers found a man dead upon arrival.
In a news release on Thursday, police said they investigated the incident and determined the death is not criminal in nature.

A man who was taken into custody for questioning regarding the incident has since been released, the CPS said.
Police said on Wednesday the death is not connected to a shooting in Falconridge on Monday or a homicide in upper Mount Royal on Sunday.
“We do not believe this incident is related to the other recent deaths within the last few days, which are also currently under investigation,” Staff Sgt. Sean Gregson said.
Police said the recent deaths are a priority for them but other resources across the service have been impacted with additional tasks, including collecting evidence, speaking to witnesses and conducting interviews.
