A man is dead following an early Tuesday collision on Hamilton Mountain, according to police.
Investigators say the incident happened just after 5 a.m. on the Upper Wentworth Bridge just over the Lincoln Alexander Parkway (Linc) involving a cyclist and a passenger vehicle.
Paramedics say a man was transported to a trauma centre “without vital signs” by ambulance around 5:30 a.m. after found by police in the middle of the road.

Cst. Indy Bharaj told Global News in an email the call for help came from a passenger in a 2017 Dodge Caravan.
The cyclist has been identified as a 52-year-old Hamilton man.
The cause of the collision is yet to be determined and investigators believe multiple vehicles in the area may have witnessed the collision.
