CALGARY- The bomb squad was called out to the northwest on Monday evening, for reports of a suspicious package.

The call came in around 5 p.m. from Shagnappi Trail by Edgemont Blvd.

Police say a suspicious package was found on a gravel driveway, and may or may not be a pipe bomb.

The bomb squad arrived at the scene around 6:30 p.m.

However, it was deemed a non-issue, and the area was reopened a short time later.
