There were two separate shooting incidents in Kitchener a couple of nights ago, including one at a park while people were shooting fireworks, according to Waterloo Regional Police.
Police say officers were called to a home near Windflower Drive and Windflower Crescent on Tuesday shortly after 8 a.m. after property damage had been reported.
The officers arrived and found damage to an interior wall and couch inside the residence which was caused by bullets.
Police say that between 10 p.m. and midnight on Monday, guns had been fired in McLennan Park while some people were lighting fireworks.

A little while later, bullets were fired at the home near Windflower Drive and Windflower Crescent.
Police say they searched McLennan Park and found evidence of gunfire at around noon on Tuesday.
They believe the two shooting incidents to be targeted and related.
On Tuesday at around 12:25 p.m., police announced they were conducting an investigation at the park.

A couple of hours later, they announced they were also searching the other location near Sunrise
Shopping Centre and that guns were involved in the investigation.
