The Calgary Police Service is investigating a bizarre incident that happened in the city’s southeast late Wednesday night.
Police say one of their units spotted at pickup that had been reported stolen that was driving near 58th Street and 5th Avenue S.E.

The pickup truck took off and police proceeded to follow it, at one point the truck slowly reversed towards police, hitting their car.
The driver of the truck fled the scene on foot.
Nobody was injured and damage to the police car was minimal.
