Homicide investigators have been deployed after a man’s body was found in a wooded area in Langley, B.C., on Tuesday.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team said it was called to the 7400-block of 208 Street in the Willoughby area around 12:10 p.m.
An adult male’s body was found in the wooded area near a vacant lot.
“Based on the investigative theory, this does not appear to be a random act,” IHIT said in a statement.
IHIT did not say how the man may have died or what injuries he suffered. No suspects have been identified.
The area surrounding the scene will continue to be closed off to the public as investigators gather evidence.
Anyone with information helpful to the investigation is asked to contact IHIT or Crime Stoppers.
